With this text, Eugen provides an analysis of justifications of bioeconomy policy strategies. Based on a reconstruction of the argument which justifies official bioeconomy strategies, he argues that justification of a bioeconomy policy strategy requires commitment to two ethical claims which have not been made explicit in the debate so far: (i) conception of a good life; (ii) principle for risk-taking.
